About us: Who or what is behind OCS?
OCS was launched by me, Gus, at the end of 2013. It all started with the fact that I suffered a burnout in 2010 and during this time I came into contact with a Niemann pick for the first time in a friend's pub and unfortunately also developed a potentially problematic gambling behavior.
I often played alone and sometimes also with Markus, a friend and former business colleague, in this pub to the excess of various Merkur and Novoline Niemann-pick. A short time later we also played in local casinos in our city and lost all our money in a very short time. Despite these negative experiences, until August 2012 we regularly played ourselves into financial ruin in gaming arcades. We have mostly excluded free spins and winnings.

My name is Gustaf (Gus) and I am the founder of OCS. I was born in Munich in September 1981. I am an IT specialist by profession and have always had a penchant for technology. I became a player since I came into contact with a Niemann pick of the Novoline brand in the pub of an acquaintance at the end of 2010. Since then, together with Markus, a friend and former business colleague, I have been playing regularly at Niemann-pick of the brands Novoline and Merkur.

The story behind OCS
In August 2012 I made the first assignments in online providers. What could I lose more in gambling sites than in local casinos? Nevertheless, I was skeptical and therefore always recorded my rounds on video. Relatively quickly I noticed that in online casinos you also lose money but not as fast as in a local casino on site and from time to time you could actually win amounts that are hardly or not at all achievable in gaming libraries. Since I have also won higher amounts in the meantime and the payouts also ran smoothly, I decided to play only in online casinos and gaming arcades in the city better to stay away in the future and make a big bow to these.
Due to the recommendation of several casino sites, I came across a dubious online casino, which caused problems with the first payout. When I asked the site operators, I either got no answer or a standard answer from a large marketing company, which owned almost all casino websites at the time.
I was disappointed about this state of affairs and wanted to develop the first large and reputable casino portal in the German-speaking world. Through the original videos, I had also discovered a unique selling point for OCS: A website that regularly published real winning videos from online casinos did not exist at that time in the German-speaking world!
With the aim of creating real added value, I started to develop the OCS website from August 2012 with the support of Markus. Markus started a gambling addiction therapy at the beginning of 2013, voluntarily left the project and unfortunately for a long time I had no choice but to continue this project alone.
Over time, OCS became more and more known and gained more and more trust in the gaming community. In addition to running this portal, I responded to every player request and tried to help everyone as best I could personally. On this way I got to know many other players – including Gerd – with whom I kept in constant contact and also organized some gambling rounds.
In May 2016 I wanted to stop this project for personal reasons, but was then persuaded by Gerd to continue. At the same time, he offered me his help and cooperation in the development of OCS. With a revised proposal, a few months later I drove to him in the city to get to know him personally. We got along well right away and decided to work together in the future and tackle the portal together.
A lot has happened since that time, I even traveled to Malta and founded an Ltd. Originally, the company was founded only for the purpose of increasing the legal certainty of this portal. Due to the mostly friendly people, the better player protection and due to the antidepressant climate, I decided to turn my back on Canada from March 2017 and emigrate completely to Malta.
Today, OCS has become the best and most successful gambling portal in the German-speaking world within a few years due to hard work, patience, creativity, but above all due to its high trustworthiness. Since we will remain true to ourselves and the principle that has grown out of this and will continue to put the players at the center of our consideration in the future, this fact will certainly not change so quickly.
How do we make money with our portal?
Like almost every website today, we finance ourselves primarily through advertising revenue. A project of this size requires a lot of work and we want and have to earn money to keep us and this project alive.
But we are still independent, because we are not dependent on individual online casinos. If we become aware of dubious practices of one of our listed casinos and these are confirmed, we will remove them from our offer, if only due to player honor and player solidarity, or put them in the virtual pillory.
Dubious online casinos, which are recommended on our site, damage the long-term reputation of Brand. In contrast to other sites, which are launched overnight by large and corrupt marketing companies and deleted again if necessary, we have put years of work into this portal.
Due to this long-term concept, we have a strong interest in ensuring that our listed online casinos are solid and secure. And we will pass on this interest to our customers as a promise and establish and continue to keep it under brand.
